All import shipments into New Zealand incur a customs transaction fee.
As of 1st July 2023 the transaction fee has increased from $51.72+GST up to $75.12+GST.
The government has agreed to increase the biosecurity entry levy to a new maximum rate of $50.00 which where this increase has come from.
Please note any customs import entries lodged from 1st July will have this increased fee charged. You will see this on either your customs certificates or on the customs statement.
