Most goods will require some type of packaging for international Transport. The better the packaging the less chance of any damage happening, but this does depend on your commodity type i.e. clothes are normally just boxed, boxes of soft drink are palletised as they are heavy all together and need a forklift to pick up, expensive artwork is usually crated for better protection against dampness and other goods loaded in the same container.
