In New Zealand an export container can be delivered to your house as long is it is fully on private property and there are no covenants restricting the activity. In New Zealand an Import Container must Transit through a MPI process at an ATF (Approved Transitional Facility) where it must be unpacked cleared repacked and then can be delivered to your house.
