In New Zealand, you can have an export container delivered to your residence as long as it’s entirely situated on private property without any contractual restrictions. For an import container, it must undergo an MPI process at an ATF (Approved Transitional Facility), where it is unpacked, cleared, repacked, and subsequently delivered to your residence. It’s worth noting that many side loaders won’t place containers on grass surfaces, so it’s advisable to have a solid hardstand area. If you have any questions about container deliveries when you ship goods from China to NZ, please feel free to reach out to Rocket Freight for assistance.
